Bumps in the Road

The last couple of days have been less than amazing. I don't mean to complain, but sometimes its good to vent a bit. Kennedy, who had previously lulled us into a sense of security with her practically perfect behavior, has turned fussy and basically wont let me set her down. I am also dealing with an infection that is making taking care of Kennedy difficult. Luckily my wonderful husband Tim has gone above and beyond to keep both his cranky girls happy. What a guy. Well, I'm sure things will get better soon.

  1. Welcome to motherhood :) Thank goodness our kids are so stinking cute or none of us would want any more! (some of us want to give away the ones [Zack] that we already have!)

Glad to hear that Tim doing his duties and treating you like the princess you are!

Love the new look of your blog. Your profile picture is so cute! Is that an old picture or did you cut your hair?

Seriously, you are one hot mama! I am sure you're looking forward to having the parents come for the blessing. Wish we could ALL be there!

  3. Rachel,
Don't worry. You'll get through. When you can put her down, take advantage of the few moments of peace. A great husband like Tim works wonders for your sanity! As far as the infection...is it in an uncomfortable place for nursing? There is nothing worse than that kind of infection. Ugh...I'm am so not looking forward to nursing. I like the changes to your blog layout. It's cute.

  4. Hey Rachel! You will pull through the bad times because you will always have good days. If you want to look at the book that I personally think made Andrew such a good baby it is called "Babywise." Amy used it too and she is the one that I heard it from. I am sure you can get it at the library but I just bought my copy off of Amazon used for like $1. Good luck and call if you need anything.

  5. That is just rotton. I was babysitting for 9 hours on monday and the kids were just crazy. They wouldn't settle down. When everone was fin one of them had to break down and freak out. (I didn't that little girls could change cloths so much. 6 out fits.) I'm really happy and content right now. I'm also happy you can chose when you have them and you don't get 4 at a time. I'm really glad i got a lot of years left too. I can't believe some people meet their husbands in JR. High. Because all the guys I know are jerks. or mentally challenged in the art of not looking like a second grader. Well health is definatly funny with them. Watching them is really funny. Seeing them learn things the girls know in 5th grade. That was a horrible day. the matcheration program. I was scared.....
